There is a published account of the pioneers who settled at Lac des Roches, and the area is still home to descendants the original settlers and subsequent pioneers of our area. Our mission statement includes our commitment to “… work for the future well being of (these lakes) …” which to many, includes preserving our history. This new page will contain information about the history of our area and the future work of our historical committee.
