Ten ladies from Lac des Roches attended the February 28th “ladies only” auction on Lee road. Saturday’s auction was held during the afternoon rather than in the evening like to several auctions before this one, which seemed to suit many of the local ladies. As always, the house was filled with laughter as the ladies exchanged their surplus household items using a low-value auction format. A bronze coloured novelty luggage tag seemed to elicit the most bidding action but it was the testing out of an un-purchased exercise machine that got the most physical action. Thanks to the hostesses of this fun-filled afternoon and to all the ladies who attended and brought their unique “junque” and change purses.
